Each barrette is made of polymer clay and formed to a 3 inch metal springback
finding. Comfortable and lightweight, they are easy to wear and to coordinate
with your wardrobe--any color or effect is possible with polymer clays!
Fashionable without being faddish, these barrettes can be worn with clothes
that range from comfy to classic, and you can dress up any outfit with
these one of a kind accessories.
These barrettes were made using the marbeling or an adaptation of the
Mokume Gane metal working technique. Each one is hand formed, then later
topped with Rust-Oleum waterbased Varathane
to protect the metallic foils. These techniques make use of metalic foils
including gold and silver leaf as well as copper. Some are still available
