Dressed Face Cabochons often incorporate Pearl-Ex Powders or
metallic leaf. The shimmer doesn't translate well to the web page--they
are even more effective in person. These are very useful in making altered art
books, dolls and figures, decorated boxes and frames and more.
Polymer clay faces are originally hand sculpted and then cabochons are cast from an
RTV silicon mold created by the artist from the original. All purchased polymer
clay items may be used in jewelry or decorative items for resale, but the
original sculpted face and the silicone molds themselves are not
sold and all copyrights remain with the artist.
