You
can use beads and wire to create your own crowning glory; a Princess tiara
or a crown fit for a Queen!
Make a special piece to wear in ceremonial moments--or on those days that
require some royal treatment to help you get through with your regal grace
intact.
It can be made for a wedding, festival, or costume party or just for your
own enjoyment. Renaissance Fairs are another kind of event that just
cry out for a crown.
Beads, wire, crystals and silk flowers can all be combined to form
wearable art that is fun to make and that will leave you with a smile on
your face when you put it on your head!
Who
couldn't use a tiara or crown to improve their day once in a while?
And if you aren't born to the Royal Estate or a Pageant Winner you can
still enjoy the effect of a crown.
Make your own! Choose your beads to accent a particular gown or event,
and use wire to form this wearable art. Use flowers, wire and beads to
create a circlet that can be worn by a flower girl or May Queen.
This crown was made to go with an Ice Faerie costume. The crystal is a
bit gaudy, but beautiful! Lead crystals cause a shower of rainbows when the
light goes through them.

In addition to wearing crowns, its fun to use them in
decoration and in creating interesting images in photographs and
illustrations. Costumes are an exciting addition to parties, but not everyone
is willing to play dress up. When you have dolls and puppets and display
mannequins around, its easy to get the images without embarrassing anyone!
I had fun taking this photograph into Adobe Photoshop and
manipulating it with various filters.
